We carefully choose gentle, child-friendly products wherever possible, designed for fun, sparkle and confidence boosts rather than adult beauty treatments ✨
Children’s skin and nails are naturally more delicate than adults (and under developed), which is why we avoid harsh skincare ingredients, strong chemicals, abrasive techniques and treatments designed for mature skin. Candy Spa focuses on gentle pampering, imaginative play and beginner self-care in a way that feels safe, age-appropriate and trusted by parents 💖

Not at all ✨ We keep everything soft, sparkly and age-appropriate using gentle shimmer, glitter and light makeup touches.

Most of our experiences are designed for children aged around 4–10 years, depending on the party or event theme.

Each package includes a mix of pampering, themed activities, sweet treats and selfie-worthy moments ✨ Specific inclusions vary by theme.

Our packages are based on 6, 8 or 12 children, but we can absolutely host larger groups too 🎉
Additional guests can usually be added depending on your chosen package and availability.
We suggest no more than x14 -
Candy Spa parties are exclusive hire for 1 hour 45 minutes including arriving and departing, giving plenty of time for pampering and fun without feeling rushed.

Yes, parents are very welcome to stay ✨ However, for the best party experience — especially with larger groups — we often recommend a more drop-and-go style party where possible, as children usually settle into the activities more easily and enjoy the independence with their friends 💖
If you’re travelling from afar, Sunny Bank Mills is also lovely for a little potter round while the party takes place.
We do kindly ask that a minimum of 2 responsible adults remain onsite for all party bookings throughout the duration of the event.

Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before your start time so our Candy Crew can finish setting up your magical experience.
If someone is late? Don’t worry — we’ll always do our best to help guests join in smoothly, although some activities may already have started.
🍰 Food, Cake & Party Extras

Yes 🎂 You’re very welcome to bring your own birthday cake. We simply ask for a quick disclaimer to be signed regarding allergens and food hygiene. We have a sing along at the end of the party, we ask that any cake is then taken away (unless its a yummy slice for the Candy crew of course!)

All parties include sweet treats and unlimited juice, with additional platters and upgrades available to add on ✨

We are not unable to allow additional outside food or buffets
This is to manage allergens safely, maintain food hygiene standards within the space and ensure setup/run times stay smooth for all bookings throughout the day.
We do offer optional platters and party food add-ons if you’d like to make your celebration extra special 💖

Yes 🎁 Party bags can be added and include a mix of themed goodies, sweets and Candy Spa surprises.

You’re welcome to bring a few little extras, although the space is already styled to feel magical and party-ready
Any balloons must be carry in/out, no fixed fixtures or large installs

Treatments vary by package but may include mini manicures, fizzy foot spas, glitter makeup, hair styling and themed self-care activities.

Yes ✨ We use gentle, age-appropriate products designed for younger skin wherever possible.

No 💖 We do not use abrasive techniques, strong active skincare ingredients, extraction tools or harsh treatments designed for adults.
Many of our self-care activities focus on gentle, natural ingredients instead — such as yogurt, banana, honey and other skin-friendly goodies used in our DIY face mask experiences ✨
We also do not offer shellac, acrylics, gel systems or other long-wear nail coverings designed for adult nails. Children’s skin and nails are naturally more delicate, so all of our treatments are designed to stay fun, light and age-appropriate.
Our products, treatments and insurance are specifically chosen around children’s pampering experiences and child-friendly products, which is something we carefully consider in everything we offer at Candy Spa 💖

Of course 💖 We always recommend letting us know about any allergies or sensitivities before your booking so we can guide you as best we can.
Candy Spa was actually created with this very much at its heart ✨ After years of dermatology visits and navigating sensitive skin ourselves — and now the same journey with my own little girl — creating a gentle, child-friendly and inclusive environment has always been incredibly important to us.
That’s why we carefully avoid harsh treatments, strong products and “grown-up” beauty approaches, focusing instead on fun, confidence-building pampering with a softer, no-nasties mindset wherever possible 💕

Yes ✨ There’s plenty of nearby parking through Sunny Bank Mills, including visitor spaces and the Woodland Carpark just past the big sheep 🐑

We’re based at the gorgeous Sunny Bank Mills, with easy access, lots of parking and family-friendly facilities.

Yes 💖 Family facilities including toilets and baby changing are available onsite.

Party dates are secured through our booking system at Bookwhen – Candy Spa for Kids using your deposit payment ✨
Once booked, all the fun little extras and final details are arranged with our Candy Spa party planners to help make your celebration feel extra special 💖
An itemised invoice, final balance details and consent form will then be sent around 2 weeks before your party date.
